Zlatan Ibrahimovic: A Truly European Goal Scorer

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: some like him others detest him. This however, does not influence him. He scores goals and some of them are great goals. At his new club, Paris St. Germain he has found the back of the net 5 times in as many games which underlines his status as one of the greatest contemporary goals scorers.

Despite his reportedly huge ego, he has so far scored for all his clubs playing in the Champions League: Ajax, Juve, Inter, Barca, Milan and now PSG where he scored the opener in their return to the grand stage of European football and the place where they see themselves: the Champions League.

He is currently at Manchester United where he is recovering from a difficult knee injury.

To date he is the most decorated active football player in the world having won 33 trophies in total.

The John Terry Saga

John Terry, captain of Chelsea FC and former England captain has retired from international football, saying that his ‘position has become untenable’ after the Football Association (The FA) has begun an inquiry into his behaviour in the Anton Ferdinand case.
