Reading through the season guide of the most recent issue of France Football, the oldest french football magazine, shows interesting figures. The most league titles to date were won by AS St. Etienne who also managed to win the most doubles Cup and League on 4 occasions. PSG have now won 5 league titles and are way behind Marseille, Lyon and Nantes. Olympique Lyon, local rivals to AS St. Etienne, have managed 7 titles in a row, a record not equalled or broken.

With now 3 titles in a row, PSG could be in touch soon with this figure if they continue to distort the competition.

Indeed PSG supporters will need to dream on. Surely, there could be more statistics added to point out that PSG are just a footnote in french football.
